I really like that. Simple and elegant. All it needs is a second hand. I’m big on second hands.

Looks good. Very 1960s look. Not familiar with the brand, though, so I assume it’s a fashion one with an off the shelf movement. I tend to prefer unique movements from the companies who make them.
Some of the Bulova Accutron II and Precisionist line have similar 60s inspired styling queues with a proprietary 262 Hz 3 pronged crystal w/ sweeping second hand. You ought to check them out.

It looks nice. I like the simple markers with the two-tone dial (or I guess three-tone if we’re counting the ring for the second markers). I really like the design and it looks like that’s what you’re paying for - the movement is a pretty standard Japanese quartz movement that is incredibly cheap. Not saying it’s a bad movement, but it’s nothing special. A quick search shows that the movement can be bought for $6 online, so the other $400+ dollars you’re paying is for the design and (possibly) the quality of materials for the dial/case.

More accurate than your spelling of accurately. ;)

It looks nice. For the price range it’s in I would go for a Citizen or a lower end Tissot, but that’s just me.

It’s an alernative spelling

So it’s like alternative facts!

I really like corniche as a brand though, and I don’t mind paying for the extreme quality of execution you get from them.

They use a pretty decent Quartz movement, but the devil with these really is in the detail. The presentation and quality is above phenomenal.

That’s exactly it. I’ve got a different heritage 40, and the movement is good enough for me. The quality is very very good and I believe that it more than justifies the price.

It looks practically identical to the Emporio Armani watch I got as a present (except mine’s in a dark brown/bronze). Really really nice looking watch, and I’m far from a watch person :)
So similar in fact that I’d be willing to bet that Corniche are the people who make it for Armani to sell on at an inflated price ;)
